Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Most of our students are children, so we take their privacy seriously. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Yash Cube Classes ("YCC", "we", "us") runs online Rubik's Cube classes for children, founded and led by Yash Chaudhary. This policy applies to this website and to the classes we run. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us through our forms or messages:

  • Free trial booking:parent's name, child's age, phone number, email address, how you heard about us, and any message you add.
  • Newsletter: your email address.
  • Job applications: your name, email, phone number, city, experience, links you share, and why you want to join.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email, phone, or WhatsApp.
  • Website usage: basic, aggregated information such as pages visited, device type, and how you found the site, collected through analytics cookies (see below).

We ask for a child's age, not their full name or date of birth, when you book a trial. Forms on this site are meant to be filled in by a parent or guardian, not by children.

Why we use it

  • To contact you about the free trial and schedule it.
  • To run classes, share schedules, and update you on your child's progress.
  • To send the newsletter, if you subscribed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To review job applications.
  • To understand which pages are useful and improve the website.
  • To protect the site from spam and abuse.

We never sell your data, and we do not use your child's data for advertising.

Children's data

Under Indian law, anyone under 18 is a child, and we process a child's data only with a parent or guardian's consent. When you book a trial or enroll, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian.

We may share student achievements, such as solve times, certificates, photos, or videos, on our website or social media only with the parent's permission. You can ask us to remove them at any time.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted services to run the website and classes. They process data only on our behalf:

  • Supabase stores website data such as newsletter sign-ups and applications.
  • Google (Google Sheets, Google Tag Manager and Analytics) stores trial bookings and measures site usage.
  • Resend sends our confirmation and newsletter emails.
  • WhatsApp and video-calling tools are used to talk to you and run live classes.
  • YouTube hosts the testimonial videos embedded on our pages.

Some of these providers may store data outside India. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

Cookies

We use analytics cookies to see how visitors use the site. Embedded YouTube videos may set their own cookies when you play them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.

How long we keep it

We keep trial and enrollment details while your child is learning with us and for a reasonable time afterwards for our records. We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe and job applications for up to 12 months. After that, we delete the data or make it anonymous.

Keeping it safe

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with providers that use industry-standard security. Only the YCC team members who need it can access it. No system is completely secure, but if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you or your child,
  • correct or update it,
  • delete it,
  • withdraw your consent, for example to stop newsletters or remove a published photo.

Email us and we will reply within 30 days.

Contact and grievances

For any privacy question or complaint, contact Yash Chaudhary at [email protected] or on WhatsApp (Mon–Sat, 10am–8pm IST). If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will tell enrolled families by email or WhatsApp.
